New Oddisee album // DJ Center feat Oddisee (Chris Read Remix) [release date]

I am very pleased to have finally received confirmation of the release date for this remix that I did for DJ Center & Oddisee’s “Leave the City Outside” earlier this year. DJ Center’s ‘Everything in Time’ being one of my favourite long players of the last couple of years (go get it if you haven’t already – vinyl & digi available via Fat Beats NYC!) and Oddisee arguably being the stand-out lyricist and producer of the last few years, this remix was a genuine pleasure to work on. So, anyway, it will be available via Push the Fader records on July 10th. More details to follow…

And it’s timely for me to be telling you about this today because Oddisee’s brand new album ‘People Hear What They See’  was released yesterday and it’s fantastic. Stream via Bandcamp and / or purchase below:

I also strongly recommend checking out the video for this fantastic acoustic version of the album cut “You Know Who You Are” featuring the brilliant Olivier Daysoul:

And whilst I’m here I should probably do the obligatory sales bit: Both Oddisee and DJ Center have tracks featured on my recent compilation for BBE records ‘Latin Concrete’, which you can buy here. Oddisee also features on J Live’s ‘The Upgrade’ which appears on my BBE compilation ‘BBE 15’. You can buy that here.
