BBE records will be in the house this Friday, hosting the upstairs at Soulbrew at Queen of Hoxton. I’ll be joining BBE head honcho Pete and main man at BBE’s R2 subsidiary, Kyri for 6 hours of quality funk, soul, boogie and plenty else besides. Downstairs you can catch Soul II Soul’s Jazzie B and the Soulbrew band.

On Saturday, we’re getting our BBQ on. DJs Mr Thing (BBE / Extended Players), Me(!), Matman (Droppin Science / ITF Champ), Kid Kanevil (First Word) and plenty others besides will be getting down in the sunny outdoors somewhere South of the river. Not really for general consumption this one unfortunately, but friends – see y’all there!
