This month I was invited down to Breakin Bread HQ to be guest DJ on their monthly radio show. Faced with the choice of theme for the show, I selected Latin as an excuse to tie in a few things I’ve been working on lately. As a result, host Dave Magness and I pulled together a couple of hours of Latin flavoured stuff in a multitude of styles. Although we originally planned for Dave to handle the older material whilst I provided some modern bits and pieces we both vered off track a little and ended up playing all sorts of stuff from hip hop to disco, all with a Latin twist.
My selections include a few tracks to be included on a forthcoming mix / compilation I putting together for BBE and also a track of my own which will be released on a Breakin Bread 7 inch single later this year.
